Building  A STRONG foundation

President's Welcome

Welcome to Canadian School of Young Scholars and to our online community. In today’s fast-paced, technological society, getting advanced learning and a higher education is essential to ensuring one’s continual prosperity and quality of life. However, competition is stiffer than ever before for spots at North America’s most prestigious universities, as well as for high-paying, technically demanding jobs.

That is why its important for parents to help their young learners in developing the cognitive learning skills, study habits and leadership capabilities they need to succeed in the academic environment. More than this, students must also learn to become well-rounded individuals, with creative flair and vibrant curiosity.

We assist them with this by encouraging our students to read with challenges and prizes, and also by employing old-school methods to develop strong writing skills. Top universities aren’t just looking at GPAs and SAT scores anymore. Infact they’re digging deeper, looking for students who possess a perspicacious intellect and strong communications skills.

At Canadian School of Young Scholars, we strive to give the children that we interact with all the tools they need to succeed in the classroom, the sports field and at home. We also give them access to all of the latest educational technology, as well as a variety of web-based programs.

Succeeding academically isn’t just about getting good grades, it’s about developing an ethic around the ideals of personal intellectual development and the habits of good citizenship. When we work with your child, we work to instill these values within them, values that will serve them well throughout their academic careers, as well as in their careers after school has ended.

On behalf of our students, educators, staff and friends, I hope you and your child enjoy the many benefits that an education from Canadian School of Young Scholars provides. Welcome to our learning community.
